Weather and Climate

The maritime climate of the Seychelles, provides warm and generally sunny weather all year round.  Temperatures seldom drop below 24°C (75°F) or rise much above 33°C (90°F).

From October to March, north-east trade winds bring generally calmer seas and warmer tropical weather with increasing levels of humidity towards the end of April.  By contrast, the south-east trade winds arrive between May and September and bring dryer and cooler weather with less humidity.

The highest rainfall occurs in December and January, but the tropical downpours are usually short and sharp.
